The Blue Twist
The Tacx Blue Twist is popular with both amateurs and professional cyclists because of its easy use. No wires or cables are needed; it is very easy to put the wheel of the bike in the docking station and start biking. The resistance is similar to biking on a flat surface with a moderate backwind.
The Flow Smart VR
The Tacx Flow Smart VR consists of the same frame as the Blue Twist, but the resistance is calculated electronically. It has a virtual reality system; after connecting the Flow Smart VR to a computer, the user can bike the Tour de France or create personal routes.
Biking uphill will result in more resistance being applied to the trainer. Once the cyclist reaches the summit, the resistance will begin to decrease during the descent. To make things even more challenging, it is possible to save achievements and use them as opponents during the next ride. It is also possible to bike against other users via the internet.
